From the exhibition statement:
“My recent work explores the pessimism induced by our iniquity, belligerence, statism, and our apparent inability to propose adequate solutions to today’s problems. This pessimism is most apparent in my work’s dark, muted colors or in the stark contrast of black and white. My hope is to engage with the public by asking them to reflect on such themes.”
